I'm a readaholic! I just can't stop! Every time I read a book I like I scour the net looking for other books by the same author or even books recommended by that author! I'll have to start weaning myself off ... slowly mind you!Amanda Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08856041617681577647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2126642202567930486.post-32812512525722587902012-01-23T19:35:16.872+00:002012-01-23T19:35:16.872+00:00Seems like everyone feels the same way...:-)Seems like everyone feels the same way...:-)Sri Pammihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16128349758368827707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2126642202567930486.post-91336217484983621462012-01-23T13:53:35.378+00:002012-01-23T13:53:35.378+00:00Free time is so precious! However, if I am writing without a pressing deadline, I do read daily, even it is just reading a little bit before bed and after I have already done my writing for the day...and then I usually fall asleep after 10 or 15 pages. You must pick some really good books if they keep you awake all night!!Olivia Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07440900565624321487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2126642202567930486.post-87663991542590327942012-01-23T13:51:19.858+00:002012-01-23T13:51:19.858+00:00I completely relate! I think reading great books is critical to writing well, so I justify the time off from writing by calling it "research". ;-)<br />But it's sooo much easier to read than to write...that's the trap!Natalie Charleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03942601245897759078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2126642202567930486.post-61615223701365037062012-01-23T11:21:46.429+00:002012-01-23T11:21:46.429+00:00I know what you mean about getting sucked into rea...I know what you mean about getting sucked into reading! One way I cope is to reward myself with reading after I do the writing. And reading on the train to work (like I did this morning) makes me feel not so deprived!Maya Blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04678010385699279149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2126642202567930486.post-6839415639754218982012-01-23T05:08:38.261+00:002012-01-23T05:08:38.261+00:00I'm similar! That's what I'm doing right now. I'm going awfully slow these days, though.Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09977676093756206414noreply@blogger.com
